About the event:
Successful communication between people with different experiences, interests and values is not a matter of course. In diverse teams, misunderstandings and conflicts arise again and again due to different expectations and needs.
This seminar is about avoiding these misunderstandings and conflicts by building empathy and understanding for different life situations. The main aim is to reduce and discuss prejudices and discrimination.
The seminar aims to create a change of perspective and space for the exchange of experiences and to enable the participants to work in an interculturally sensitive way.
The workshop is organised by the House of Resources Greifswald.
The workshop is implemented by Donatella Picciano. As a native Italian and person with a migration history, Donatella Picciano is familiar with the challenges of the integration process in another country. Her studies and trainer training in “Intercultural Communication and Diversity Management” have enriched her profile and enabled her to work in both the public and private sectors.
