The MINI Festival aims to bring together young migrants and initiatives, offering a platform for getting to know each other, networking and raising awareness of our common issues and goals. The event is also planned for this year, and we need your help to make it happen.
Currently in program are:
- Somatic Art Workshop – Through movement, breathing and nature impulses, we create a space together where we can ‘just be’.
- Drum Circle Workshop – Arabic and Nubian sounds with modern tones from singer and songwriter Ayaat Mohamed.
- Self-Reflection Workshop – A calm, creative way to map where you are and where you’re headed. Write, draw, and leave with one small, concrete next step.
- Networking & Empowerment
- Live concert by VAIAA
As a large state, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania repeatedly faces challenges in terms of networking, emancipation and participation for structurally disadvantaged people. With this festival, we want to break with the current situation and attempt to connect young migrants in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. By and for young people in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
Through various workshops and meeting formats, this day aims to create ample opportunity for exchange and networking. Topics such as asylum, flight and self-organisation are on the agenda, but also empowering activities such as somatic art and self-reflection, and an open space for spontaneous activities.
A communal meal will also be provided.
As we all know, music is essential for a successful conclusion, which is why we are delighted to welcome a performance by VAIAA (Ayaat Mohammad)!
