Workshop leader Lesia Gronska presents her project ‘Patchwork of Living Together’.
The project aims to bring people together and create a space for exchange between people from different cultures. Participants in the workshop will learn various patchwork and decorative sewing techniques. At the centre of the workshop is the conviction that the transformation of used textiles is important for the environment and our future.
Schoolchildren and adults are invited to create a textile bookmark for a book. They will learn how to use used textiles creatively. They will also try out various decorative hand stitches and make small gifts for themselves or for friends.
